TRUFFLE AND PORCINI HUNT
Come and join us at Palazzo Terranova for one of our favourite times of year – the Truffle Season!
Join local hunters as they look for the elusive white truffle and the shy porcini mushrooms. (porcini hunting according to the season)
GOLF AND TENNIS
Take advantage of the championship 18 hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Junior at nearby Antognolla. The course is about 20mins away from the hotel and has a wonderful mountain landscape. The tennis courts are also nearby the hotel and range from synthetic to clay. Racquets and coaching sessions can also be arranged. Prices on request.
CANOEING
Brave the Tiber torrents in a canoe or raft during your stay. The river runs nearby and passes through the picturesque towns of Sansepolcro and Città di Castello. Definitely a unique way of enjoying the Umbrian countryside! (In association with Circolo degli Esploratori)

This calming sport has been successful along the banks of the Tiber for many years. For beginners and experts alike, our guide knows all the right spots to make sure you have the most enjoyable fishing experience.
BIKING AND HIKING
For the more adventurous, we are able to send you with our knowledgeable guides through the Apennine mountains either on foot, or on two wheels. HORSE RIDING
The stables are a 25min drive from the hotel and has horses for all types of riders. Whether you want to brush up your dressage skills, or trek through the mountains, we’re happy to leave you in Ivan’s capable hands.

HELICOPTER AND PRIVATE CAR SERVICE
Palazzo Terranova has a helipad, making it very convenient for guests that like to travel by helicopter. We are able to arrange the helicopter service if you would like, along with any other requests for transport.

For those who like to be able to take something away with them, try the watercolour painting class with local artist Joy Stafford Boncompagni. The Umbrian hills make the perfect setting to learn this art and the view at Palazzo Terranova is so unique, you will want something to remember it by. Classes can be morning or afternoon.
